FUNDRAISING on hold at the moment

Due to personal reasons. At the present time I will have to slow down on the fundraising. I will do the fundraisers after the first of the year. Anyone that wants to post on this blog about a fundraiser please do. I can make you an administator also.

After the first of the year I have talked with St Paul's and they will allow us to use Skardon Hall for a Spagetti Lunch.

A Car Wash will also take place but not in Summerville. They want a 3 million dollar insurance policy for one to take place in Hutchinson Square. I guess this must be something new. I have planned and had 3 very Successful Car Washes in Hutchinson Square with the Troop. We never had to produce anything like that. Right now the Ice Palace Parking Lot is the pending location.

There will be a Huge Poker Run from Rockefeller's in Summerville but I have not been able to get any details concerning it. All I know is October. Please come out, it will be fun for all! Help Jonathan's Cause please :)

John will have the details on the Poker Run. His email is as follow's: jleecase@aol.com

Hope to see you all after the first of the year...

Take care,

Reneé

Jonathan's Fund: Bank Address

Here is the address if anyone would like to donate to Jonathan's Fund.

Community First Bank
200 North Cedar Street
Summerville, SC 29483

Make checks or money orders payable to: Jonathan Case
Please only send to this Branch when mailing a Donation.
Cash Donations need to be made inside the bank and can be made at any branch.
But all donations mailed have to go to the Summerville Branch please.
They recommended the account number not to be put in the media or in public. As long as his name is on the check they know what account to deposit too.

Thank you all again for your generosity of caring and prayers!

Benefits we have in the planning stages: Check it out....

I want to personally thank everyone who has shown great support for the Case Family! In the coming days I will have more details of things that we are trying to get in place to raise funds for Jonathan and his family. Bare with me please...my mind is full of all kinds of ideas and going a million miles a minute! We have lots of other people that have so kindly stepped forward to offer more great ideas and contacting people they know so things can happen quickly.

Below you will find a list of things that have been mentioned. Any and all ideas or support and even names of people you think could help us will be welcomed graciously!

After contacting a couple of banks, I have found one that has so kindly agreed to open an account without so many absurd restrictions. Community First Bank in Summerville will be the bank with Jonathan's Account. I will have all the details soon. Thanks to the many people who have emailed me wanting to send donations for Jonathan's Cause. It will be posted on this site when all details are ironed out.

These are some things we have in mind, more details to follow.

A Spaghetti Dinner:
I have contacted St Paul's Church in Summerville where my Pack has their meetings to see if they will allow us to use one of the Halls. I haven't gotten an answer but will let you know as soon as I hear something. People can eat at the church or get the Dinner's to go. We will need to have enough time to print tickets and I will ask the Scouts if they will please help sell them for us along with anyone who wants to sell them. (Scouts can not sell them in their uniforms per BSA policies...sorry) We are relying on donations for the food. Lynn Burgess is seeking the food donations. If you have any connections please let us know. I seen Jonathan had a purple bracelet on at the hospital. I asked him what it was and he said it was for the Children's Leukemia Society. What a great way to make everyone aware of this disease. Lynn will be ordering the bracelets and we can sell them at the different benefits. Girl you Rock!!! Hugs!!!
Volunteers needed: Cooks, servers, ticket sellers, people to help on the day of the Dinner.

Collection Jars:
We want to put Jars out to collect money at the different business. Lynn suggested plastic jar type containers. (good idea) If you know of anyone interested in donating Plastic Jars/containers and/or a business who will allow us to place a jar there, please let me know. Volunteers needed: To put jars out, collect jars, be responsible to turn the money in.

Car Wash:
In Hutchinson Square in Summerville is what I am aiming for. I have talked with the Town and will be waiting on the Permit to be approved. I have organized other's there before with the Troop and it's a fantastic fundraiser! We will have a bake sale also that day. Supplies will be needed. The Fire Department, The Police Dept., SCPW and the Town are always very helpful. I will also contact the Summerville Journal Scene and the new paper that I think is called The Summerville Sun?? We will ask for donations for the supplies to help us wash the cars and we will ask for people to donate Individually wrapped baked goods. For this event we will also need permission slips/release forms from everyone to cover the Town of Summerville. Volunteers needed: People to help wash cars, traffic directors, sign in sheet person, donations..more details to come as you will see this statement in many areas on this blog :)

Poker Runs:
Pending from Mojo's, Michael Green your a wonderful person, you and Marie are Godsends! They have all kinds of ideas and are bending over backwards to help with any and everything! Details to follow...

Benefit Concerts:
Mojo's: All pending...

Golf Tournaments:
Pending Raffles: Pending

If you want Jonathan's email to send him smiles, laughs, encouragement, cool pages to check out or even cool games you think he may like to play online, please email me and I will send it to you. Since this blog can be viewed by anyone, I won't post his email address to prevent spam.

If you have any idea's, suggestions, connections please help us. The more the better!!!
Many more ideas in the planning stages...
Stay tuned and a huge "THANK YOU" to all you Angels!
